AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE TOWN OF ALLEN SO THAT A PART OF ZONE "B"
IS REZONED TO ZONE ":aa ' TO PROVIDE FOR THE CONSTR
THEREON OF A MULTIPLE DWELLING APARTMENT HOUSE AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. After a public hearing held on the
matter, the Council of the Town of Allen, Texas, deems
it necessary that the General Zoning Ordinance of the
Town of Allen be amended so that a part of Zone "B" is
rezoned to Zone 11C,00'r for the purpose of permitting
the construction of a multiple dwelling apartment building
as defined in said Ordinance. It is therefore the order
of the Council that the General Zoning Ordinance be and
the same is hereby amended so that the following described
premises, to -wit:
SITUATED in the Town of Allen, Collin County, Texas,
in the William Perrin Survey, Abstract No. 708 and being
a part of the 1 acre tract conveyed by L. B. Angel et al
to James Garland by deed recorded in Volume 323, Page
337 of the Collin Obunty Deed Records, which said 1 acre
tract is also known as Lot 1 in Block 9 of the Whisenant
Addition to the Town of Allen, and being more fully
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of said 1 acre
tract;
THENCE WEST with the North line thereof 138.66 feet
to the Northeast corner of the lot conveyed to A. J.
Lazarine et ux by deed recorded in Volume $$6, Page
320 of the Collin County Deed Records;
THENCE SOUTH 216 feet to the South line of said 1
acre tract;
THENCE EAST with the South line of said 1 acre tract
138.66 feet to the Southeast corner of said 1 acre tract;
THENCE NORTH therewith 216 feet to the place of
beginning,

be and the same is hereby classified as Zone "OP 1".
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
after its passage and approval.
Duly passed and approved by the City Council of the
City of Allen, Texas, on this the 402e day of July,
1967.
