AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE TOWN OF ALLEN SO THAT A PART OF ZONE "A"
IS REZONED TO ZONE "E" TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION
THEREON OF A CHURCH BUILDING AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
EE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION I: That after a public hearing held on the
matter, the Council of the Town of Allen, Texas, deems
it necessary that the General Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Allen be amended so that a part of Zone "A" is
rezoned to Zone "B" for the purpose of permitting the
constrection thereon of a church building and so that
said premises may be used for church and related religous
purposes as defined in said Ordinance.
It is therefore the order of the Council that the
General Zoning Ordinance be and the same is hereby amended
so that the following described premises, to -wit:
FIRST TRACT:
SITUATED in Collin County, Texas, a part of the
William Perrin Survey, Abstract No. 708, and being 3.015
acres out of a 241.5 acre tract as described in a deed
from W. A. Giddings at .x, Hattie, to If. L. Wood et,x,
Dorothy, dated Janoary 2, 1939, and recorded in Vol -,me
321, Page 165 of the Collin County Deed Records, and the
said 3.015 acres as follows:
EECI.MI XG at an iron stake in the East R. O.W. line
Of S. D. S. Said stake being in the Southwest corner
of a O.0 acre tract T. Jones, January 11, 1964, and Sab

THENCE SOUTH 30 degrees 39 minutes West with the
East R.O.W. line of the said highway, a distance of 203.0
feet to an iron stake;
THENCE SOLT11 87 degrees 39 minutes East a distance
of 782.9 ^cet to an iron stake;
THENCE NORTH 02 degroes 21.minutes East, a distance
of 1.78.7 feet to an iron stake in the South line of the

TIDiXCE NORTH 87 degrees 39 minutes West with the
South line of 10 acre tract a distance of 678.1 feet
to the place of beginning,
CONTAINS 3.015 acres of land.

SITUATED in Collin County, Texas, a part of the
William Perrin Survey, Abstract No. 708, and apart of
George W. Fora Survey, Abstract No. 328, and being 2.352
acres ant of a part of 241.5 acre tract as described in
`. a deed from If. A. Giddings at fix, Hattie, to If. L. Wood
at nx, Dorothy, dated Janivary 2, 1939, and recorded in
Volume 321, Page 165 of the Collin Connty Deed Records,
and the said 2.352 acres being as follows:
BEGI.N.NING at an iron stake in the Sonth line of a
10 acre tract conveyed to Robert E. Lowman by Gentry Jonas
on Jannary 11, 1964, and recorded in Volome 629, Page
141, of the Collin County Deed Records. Said stake bears
South 87 degrees 39 minutes East, 687.1 feet from the
_Swrthwest corner of the said Lowman 10 acre tract;
THENCE SOUTH 2 degrees 21 minutes Nest, a distance
of 176.7 feet to an iron stake;
TIIENCb] SOLID 87 degrees 39 minutes East, a distance
of 52S.2 feet to an iron stake in center line of a public
road. Said stake being in the East line of the said
241.5 acre tract;
TID9NCE NORM 30 degrees 42 minutes East with the
center line of the said road a distance of 203.0 feet

of 621.4 feet to the place of beginning.

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately after its passage and approval.
