AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
T1L1T WHEREAS, application having been made for
annexing certain territory to the City of Allen, Texas,
which said application is in the form of a petition
duly and legally executed and filed with the Mayor of -
the City of Allen, Texas, and the Mayor having certified
the same to the Council of the City of Allen, Texas; and
hl[CREAS, the Council of the City of Allen has
investigated into said petition and determined that
all of the facts contained in said petition are true; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that it will be
advantageous and beneficial to the City of Allen and
its inhabitants as well as the hereinafter described
territory to annex such territory to the City of Allen;
NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the territory described as follows
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Allen,
Texas, to -wit:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Hillside Village,
an addition to the City of Allen, Texas, as recorded
in Volume 5 at Page 84 of the Map Records of Collin County,
Texas, an iron stake for corner;
THENCE SOUTH 0 degrees 14 minutes East, a distance
of 265.02 feet to an iron stake for corner;
THENCE NORTI1 89 degrees 26 minutes Nest, a distance

degrees 15 minutes 09secondsand a radius of 1785.00 feet, an iron stake for corner;
THENCE along said curve a distance of 880.18 feet
to the end of said curve, an iron stake for corner;

of 545.04 feet to an iron stake for corner;

to the end of said curve in the Westerly line of said
Hillside Village, an iron stake for corner;
THENCE along said Ilillside Village Westerly and
Southerly lines, the following:
SOUTH 16 degrees 48 minutes 36 seconds East, a
distance of 115.00 feet to an iron stake for corner;
ALONG a curve to the left having a central angle
Of 0 degrees 39minutes 42 seconds, a radius of
2215.00 feet and a back tangent bearing South
73 degrees 11 minutes 24 seconds West, a distance
of 25.58 feet to the end of said curve, an iron
stake for corner;
SOUTH 17 degrees 28 minutes 18 seconds East, a
distance of 165.00 feet to an iron stake for corner;
ALONG a curve to the right having a central angle
Of 18 degrees 02 minutes 18 seconds, a radius of
2050.00 feet.and a back tangent bearing North 72
degrees 31 minutes 42 secontls East, a distance of
645.40 fee, to the end of said curve, an iron
stake for corner;
SOUTH 89 degrees 26 minutes East, a distance of
483.91 feet to the place of beginning, and
CONTAINING 11.238 acres of land.
Section 2: That from and after the passage of this
ordinance said territory shall be a part of the City of
Allen, Texas, and the inhabitants thereof shall be
entitled to all the rights, privileges and immunities
Of all other citizens of the City of Allen, Texas, and
shall be bound by all of the ordinances and regulations
enacted pursuant to and in conformity with the general
laws of the State of Texas.
Section 31 This ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval and it is so ordained.
