The motion carried. 2) Recommend City Council Adopt the Standards of Care Necessary for Day Care Exemption. Travis Conniff, Recreation Manager, reviewed with the Board the Standards of Care and the purpose of the exemption. After short discussion the following motion was presented. Motion: Upon a motion by Member Johnson and a second by Member Vizcanio, the Parks and Recreation Board voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to recommend City Council adopt the standards of Care Necessary for Day Care Exemption. The motion carried. 3) Receive Subcommittee Update In the absence of Chair Losavio, Vice -Chair Holley shared Senior Advisory Committee meeting notes. 4) Update on Recreation Programming Travis Cunniff, Recreation Manager, and Brandy O'Keefe, Marketing Manager, presented the results of the annual membership drive and the positive impact a change ' in marketing strategy created. 5) Update of Projects and Agreements Matt McComb, Landscape Architect, updated the Board on the progress of Spirit Park construction, the refinishing of the tennis court and other improvements at Reed Park and the nearly complete Windridge Park. Brian Bristow, Assistant Director, shared with the Board the Alder Civic Space Agreement and the maintenance improvements needed for this area. He then covered the purchase of land and the development of Ridgeview Crossing Park. 6) Items of Interest a. Items for Future Agendas b.
