There came on to be considered the returns of an election held on the 3 day of April 1956
for the purpose of electing the hereinafter named officials, and it appearing from said returns, duly and
legally made, that there were cast at said election 120 valid and legal votes; that each of the
candidates in said election received the follwing votes:
FOR MAYOR
V.B. Watson - 105 (total number of votes received)
C.L. Shelton - 15
FOR ALDERMAN/COMMISSIONER
R.J. McClure - 94 (total number of votes received)
Cy Hefner - 73
J.H. Ereckson - 60
O.E. Lynge - 2
