Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present.
With a quomm of the Allen City Council and CIP Steering Committee Members present, the Special
Called Meeting of the Allen City Council and Capital Improvement Program Steering Committee was
called to order by Mayor Terrell at 7:05 p m. on Thursday, June 29, 2006, in the Council Conference
Room of the Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas.
Steering Committee Recommendation Presentation.
The Steering Committee recommended support for $77,895,000 Capital Improvement Program with
a potential tax rate increase of $0.044. The proposed program consists of.
Public Facilities $16,200,000
Streets and Drainage $27,200,000
Parks and Recreation $17,250,000
Public Art Master Plan $ 1,390,000
Public Safety $15,855,000
Total Bond Proposal $77,895,000

3 Two alternative bond programs were also presented for Council's consideration. $82.975 million and
$92.75 million.

3. Discussion Regarding Committee Recommendation.
The City Council will hold a public forum on July 11, 2006, at 7 p.m. to gather public comments
regarding the proposed bond program.
Adjourn.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Stout and a second by Councilmember Bartlemay,
the Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Special Called Meeting
of the Allen City Council and Capital Improvement Program Steering Committee at 8:20 p.m.
on Thursday, lune 29, 2006. The motion carried.
