Approve Minutes of the October 3, 2012, Special Called Meeting. 6. Approve Minutes of the October 9, 2012, Regular Meeting. 7. Motion to Set Saturday, January 26, 2013, as the Date for the Strategic Planning Session with City Council. S. Authorize the City Manager to Purchase Thirty-two Vehicles for Various Departments through i Buyboard Cooperative Purchasing, State of Texas, General Services Administration (GSA) and Houston -Galveston Area Council (HGAC) Contracted Vendors: Philpott Ford for an Amount of $425,020.60; Reliable Chevrolet for an Amount of $363,705.14; Sterling McCall for an ALLEN CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 23, 2012 PAGE Amount of 5341,296; and BullEx for an Amount of $71,210, for a Total Amount Not to Exceed $1,201,231.74. 9. The motion carried. Regular Aeenda 12. Adopt a Resolution Establishing Rates and Fees for The Courses at Watters Creek Golf Course. RESOLUTION NO. 3116-10-12(R): A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE COURSES AT WAITERS CREEK GOLF COURSE (FORMERLY KNOWN AS CHASE OAKS GOLF CLUB); AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE !i MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Sedlacek and a second by Councilmember ® Obermeyer, the Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adopt Resolution No. 3116-10-12(R), as previously captioned, establishing rates and fees for The Courses at Watters Creek Golf Course with the following changes: 1) add Annual Membership for Allen residents and an exclusion for holidays, and 2) add a second Membership category for non- residents with the same restrictions listed for Allen residents and setting the price range at $2,75044,000. The motion carried. 12. Items of Interest. • The Cattle Drive for Texas Stampede is set for October 24 at the Allen Event Center. • Council recognized Boy Scouts from Troops 306 in attendance as a requirement for earning the cdizenship in community and communications merit badges. Executive Session The Executive Session was not held.
