Workshop Discuss
Proposal by Folsom
Associates (Agenda Item II)
J.T. Dunkin and Dennis Holman presented this request to the
Commission.
Concerns of the Commission were with the type of housing, the
amount of housing on the property, density of the proposal. They
wereconcerned with the 1200 square feet and below housing being a
small percentage. They felt that there were too many multi -family
dwellings and cluster homes in the area they were proposed. Density
too high for over all project. Lot size distribution not good.
The Commission expressed that they would like to see some more
additions to the proposal including use regulations. Also, some
modifications to the proposal.
A letter was presented to the Commission with a proposed Thor-
oughfare for the west of Allen. This letter was signed by four
land owners, either owning the land or under contract. Those owners
being Folsom Investments, Campbell Co. of Dallas, Inc., Tomlin Prop-
erties, and Sibley & Wolff.
