Motion by Joe Moseley t, approve minutes from January 10 1980 meeting
as read SecDnd to motion by Bill Day Moti+n carried 6 for 0 against.
A Public Hearing was held on establishing original z,ning districts to
recently annexed areas under City ordinance No. 284.
Zoning requests were made an area No. j for outdoor Commercial. No. 4 for
Out door Commercial. No. 1 for General Industrial, No. 8 for General In-
dustrial instead of Residential. No. 9 for General Industrial instead of
Residential. Public Hearing was then closed Notion made by Akin to delay
setting of zoning until the regular meeting scheduled for the second Thursday
in April. Second to motion by Pendleton Motion carried 4 for 2 against (Joe
Moseley & Bill Day).
Notion by Bill Day to appr,,ve final plat for Allen Business Park Second to
motion by Joe Moseley. Motion carried 6 for 0 against.
Fox & Jacobs Timberbend submission :f Final Plat to be considered as
Preliminary and Final Plat- Roger Powell recommended resubmission for an
Executive Staff review dealing with special situations n ordinance(Park
dedications and required sidewalks in accordance with our new Sub -division
ordinance Motion by Bill Day to turn down Preliminary and Final Plat
on Timberbend because f lack f Park dedication. sidewalks and Manhole
spacing. Second to motion by Joe Moseley Notion carried 6 for 0 against.
Motion by Bill Day to table agenda item No 4 (Suggesti.ws by City Council
f,r Planning and Zoning Commission By-laws) until the regular meeting on
the second Thursday in March. Notion carried 4 for F against (Akin & Pendleton).
Bill Petty Plan Administrator, read letter from Southern Pacific Railway
concerning Rail/Street crossing at Exchange Parkway. Southern Pacific will
make further study of need.
Bill Petty advised the Commission that the first submission (14 pages)
of the proposed new Zoning ordinance have been supplied by Sam Wyse and
That copies of this will be provided to the Commission at the regular
meeting in March for their consideration.
Notion to adjourn by Bill Day. Second to motion by Joe Moseley. Motion
carried 6 for 0 against.
