Set Date for Public Hearing on Site Plan
Caruth Building Service (cont'd) (Agenda Item III)
Since a previous request for approval of a site plan submitted
by Caruth Building Service for the subject site had been before the
Commission on April 23, 1981 and had been denied, Commissioner Wolfe
had requested that the Commission make a review of the revised site
plan and building elevation to substantiate that sufficient changes
have been made by Caruth Building Service in their plans to warrant
consideration of a new request for site plan approval.
After reviewing the revised site plan and an artist rendering
of proposed changes to the existing building, the Commission dis-
cussed an appropriate date for the public hearing on the site plan
approval request.
Upon a motion made by Commissioner Moseley and seconded by
Commissioner Henry, the Commission voted five (5) for and one (1)
opposed, with Commissioner Armand casting the negative vote, to
set the public hearing date for the next regular meeting of the
Planning and Zoning Commission, being June 11, 1981.
General Discussion
BillPetty, Building Official, updated the Commission on the
status of the draft of the new proposed Zoning Ordinance. He further
advised there had been a change in the dates for another proposed
work shop on the latest draft, that being a tentative date of Monday,
June 8, 1981 at 7:30 p.m.
With no further discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner
Armand and seconded by Commissioner Moseley to adjourn the regular
session of the Planning and Zoning Commission at 8:10 p.m. The
Council voted 6 for and 0 opposed to the motion.
These minutes approved the 1\ day of , 1981.
