Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present:
With a quorum of the Commissioners present, Chair Trahan called the meeting to order at 7:00
p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen,
Texas, 75013.
Director's Report
1. The Director discussed the action taken on the Planning&Zoning Commission items by City
Council at the January 22, 2019,regular meeting.
Consent Agenda(Routine P&Z business: Consent Agenda is approved by a single majority vote.
Items may be removed for open discussion by a request from a Commission member or member of
staff)
2. Approve minutes from the January 15, 2019, regular meeting.
Motion: Upon a motion by 1St Vice-Chair Platt, and a second by Commissioner Metevier,
the Commission voted 7 IN FAVOR, and 0 OPPOSED to approve the Consent
Agenda. The motion carried.

3. Public Hearing—Conduct a Public Hearing and Consider a Request for a Residential Replat of
Lot 6, Block 3, Allenwood Estates, a Portion of Lot 7, Block 3, Allenwood Estates, and a
Portion of Lot 8,Block 3,Allenwood Estates Second Installment,Being 1.426E Acres of Land;
Generally Located Directly North of Keith Drive and Approximately 1,025± Feet West of S.
Greenville Avenue. (PL-122118-003) [Allenwood Estates]
Ms. Angel, Planner,presented the item to the Commission.
Ms. Angel noted that staff is in support of the agenda item.
Chair Trahan opened the public hearing.
Melissa and Jerry Waldon, 209 Keith Drive, Allen, TX, Applicants,provided an overview of the
request.
Elena Troiani, 208 Watson Drive,Allen,TX, asked clarification on the replat.
Chair Trahan closed the public hearing.
The Commission discussed lot sizes, the subdivision of a lot in an established neighborhood, and
the role of zoning regulations during the platting process.
Motion: Upon a motion by 1St Vice-Chair Platt, and a second by Commissioner Ogrizovich,
the Commission voted 6 IN FAVOR,and 1 OPPOSED,with Commissioner Autrey
casting the opposing vote, to approve the Residential Replat of Lot 6, Block 3,
Allenwood Estates, a portion of Lot 7, Block 3, Allenwood Estates, and a portion
of Lot 8 Block 3, Allenwood Estates Second Installment, being 1.426± acres of
land;generally located directly north of Keith Drive and approximately 1,025±feet
west of S. Greenville Avenue, for Allenwood Estates. The motion carried.

The Executive Session was not held.
Adjournment
The meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
