Regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Allen
Allen, Texas
Minutes read and approved:
Members present as follows;
Mayor V.B. Watson, Aldermen W.E. Ford, R.L. Cooksey and J.C. Hefner.
Members absent were Aldermen E.B. Young and R.J. McClure.
A recommendation by Mayor Watson in regard to buying some rock
for the streets is attached to the reverse side.

For a recommendation:
That contact be made with the contractor
crushing rock for the F.M. highway to buy
a given number of yard of crushed rock,
to cover streets that are in need of road
material. A suggestion for South 3rd St
between A and B streets, Young Street in
Young addition; North 3rd Street north of 1st St,
North 2nd Street from West B to West A and
West A to 1st Street. South West A from B St South.
Purchase to be made if price does not
exceed $1.00 per yard of crushed sized rock
and hauling not to exceed $2.50 per 5 yd load
approximately 100 loads.
