CABLE TV AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
REGULAR MEETING
MAY 18, 2000 — 7:00 P.M.

1. CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the Committee present, the regular meeting of the Allen Cable
TV and Telecommunications Advisory Committee was called to order by Chair
Don Wing at 7:03 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2000, in the Municipal Annex
Conference Room located at One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
The following items were discussed:
2. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE FEBRUARY 10, 2000, REGULAR
MEETING.
MOTION: Doug Dreggors made a motion to approve the minutes as written
for the February 10, 2000, meeting. Bill Kapka seconded. The
motion carried 5 for, and 0 against.

3. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 9, 2000, REGULAR MEETING.
MOTION: Doug Dreggors made a motion to approve the minutes as written
for the March 9, 2000, meeting. Bill Kapka seconded. The motion
carried 5 for, and 0 against.
4. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE APRIL 13, 2000, REGULAR MEETING.
MOTION: Doug Dreggors made a motion to approve the minutes as written
for the April 13, 2000, meeting. Bill Kapka seconded. The motion
carried 5 for, and 0 against.
5. CITIZENS' COMMENTS.
The Board reviewed two letters of complaint against AT&T Cable Services
received from Kenneth Fulk and Gerald Minch. After discussion the Board decided
to request the following information from AT&T Cable Service:
Fax complaint letters to AT&T and request a copy of their response.
Board would like a report of complaint calls, with count broken down to show
whether they are price or service related.
Need annual reports for FY 1999

6. REVIEW AT&T CABLE TV RATE FILING AND RESULTS OF C2
CONSULTING RATE STUDY.
Shelli Siemer gave an overview of the rate filing and handed out a summary of the
rate study and recommendations completed by C2 Consulting.
7. CONSIDER RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL
CONCERNING CABLE TV RATES FILED BY AT&T.
After discussion the Board made the following motion:
MOTION: Eric Willard made a motion to forward a recommendation to City
Council to approve AT&T's rate filing as recommended by C2
Consulting. Cal Johnson seconded. The motion carried 6 for, and
0 against.
8. OTHER BUSINESS
a. AT&T Compliance with Franchise Agreement.
There was no further discussion.

The Board reviewed documents provided. There was no farther discussion.

Calendar:
r Next regular meeting will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2000, in
the City Hall Council Chambers Conference Room at 7:00 p.m.
9. ADJOURN
MOTION: Eric Willard made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Bill Kapka
seconded. The motion carried 6 for, and 0 against. The meeting
was adjourned at 8:10 p m.
