3/08/05
CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT (CBD)
1 Jeff McGregor— questioned setbacks and catalyst — park & ride? Where will rail
stop be?
impact fees would stay, assessments would be removed
rail location
residential and shopping center on each end could come first
commuter rail -stay in CBD
2. Ken Falk -
St. Mary very important
Allen Drive important
critical to connect Main St. and wait on remainder of roads until development
comes
Remove office on US759 Maybe not.
Standards are loose; defining separate areas had merit.
6 stories everywhere may be too loose; be more specific
Cedar, St. Mary, Main, Allen are main blocks of CBD; higher intense use should
be along here.
Creek to Allen Drive — pedestrian area; residential to the east.
3. Want a better education on how impact fees and assessments are applied in the
CBD. What is the intent? Who has paid? Examples.
4. Mark Pacheco — need more time for discussion, suggest a workshop on a 5`"
Tuesday from 6-9 pm.
