Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present.
With a quorum,Doug Galletti called meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.and announced a quorum was present
in the City Hall Conference Room at Allen City Hall,305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas,75013.
1. Review Aggregated Data from Individual Subcommittee Site Visits
Each Committee member provided an overview of the Downtowns that they visited and took
pictures.The Committee decided upon an additional visit to Frisco,to be performed by member
Mary Vail-Grube.The Committee then reviewed the draft PowerPoint presentation prepared by
Member Doug Galletti.There was discussion regarding the management of Downtowns and how
this will be useful to the overall Downtown Steering Committee.
2. Identify Additional Visits to Downtowns by Downtown Steering Committee Members or
Learning from Other Communities Subcommittee Members.
Committee discussed the possibility of having other members of the overall Committee attend an
organized trip to certain downtowns.
3. Discuss Layout of Report Due to Downtown Steering Committee on July 28,2021.
Committee members discussed the report format for the Downtown Steering Committee meeting
on July 28,2021.Member Doug Galletti stated he will continue to finalize report and rely on
other Committee members to also update document.
4. Set Next Meeting Date.
Committee members agreed to wait until after the Downtown Steering Committee meeting on
July 28,2021,to set next meeting date.Member Austin Bassil stated he will not be in attendance
at Downtown Steering Committee meeting on July 28, 2021.
Adjournment
Doug Galletti adjourned meeting at 7:57 p.m.

Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present:
With a quorum of the Committee Members present,Committee Member Jones called the meeting to order
at 4:02 p.m. in the City Hall Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen,
Texas 75013.
1. Discussion of Subcommittee Charge and clarify the level of information detail required to
meet that Charge.
The Subcommittee discussed the definition and delineation of original downtown area, historical
area,and Tax Increment Financing district.
2. Review of CBD Map and Discussion of Ownership,Zoning,Standards,and Other documents.
The Subcommittee discussed City-owned properties and other possible property owners that own
multiple properties. They discussed the representation of this on a large,paper map. Finally,they
discussed expanding the CBD to include commercial areas along the east side of US 75 and along
Greenville Avenue in the CBD.
3. Review of City of Allen Interactive Map including any questions or clarifications.
The Subcommittee reviewed the Interactive Map.
4. Identify Additional Data and Documentation needed to make a formal request of the City.
The Subcommittee discussed the Current Development Map, Collin County Appraisal District
website,the Census website,and other documents on the City's website. Subcommittee members
will provide further refinement of the data and what deliverables are needed to continue into the
analysis stage. Committee members also discussed DART and impacts of Urban Residential on
the school district.

5. Set next meeting date.
The Subcommittee set the next meeting date as Thursday,July 29th at 5:00 p.m.
