CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM:
With a quorum of the Commission Members present, the Allen Planning & Zoning Commission was
called to order at 7:06 p.m. by Chairman Obermeyer, at the City Council Chambers, Allen City Hall,
One Allen Civic Plaza, Allen, Texas.

✓ Annexation—October 5 or November 2
✓ Sign Control — October 26

✓ Twin Creeks "West" — September 28 (P&Z)

Discussion of Consent Agenda and Regular Agenda Items:
A date was set for a Special called meeting for the Maple Trail Apartments General
Development Plan — Tuesday, September 19, 2000, 7:00 p.m.

Consent Agenda
1. Approve Minutes of August 24, 2000, Regular Meeting.
2. Final Plat — Consider a Final Plat for Twin Creeks Phase 4C. The property is 54
residential lots on 47.7 ± acres of land out of the Catherine Parsons Survey, Abstract No.
711 and Henry Brandenburg Survey, Abstract No. 1 10 in the City of Allen, Collin
County, Texas; further described as being located southeast of Exchange Parkway and
Alma Drive.
Motion: Upon a motion by Commission Member Blake and a second by Commission
Member Caplinger, the Commission voted 5 I FAVOR and 0 OPPOSED
to approve the consent agenda. The motion carried.
General Development Plans
3. General Development Plan — Consider a General Development Plan for Maple Trail
Apartments. The request contains 228 multifamily units on 15.276 t acres of land out
of the Peter Wetsel Survey, Abstract No. 990, City of Allen, Collin County, Texas;
further described as being located west of SH 5 and south of Pebblebrook Drive.
Consideration of this item was rescheduled to Tuesday, September 19, 2000 — 7:00 p.m

Motion: Upon a motion by Commission Member Grimes, and a second by
Commission Member Blake, the Commission voted 5 I FAVOR and 0
OPPOSED to Adjourn the September 14, 2000 meeting at 7:32 p.m.
