Approve Minutes of the October 19,2021,Regular,Meeting., , - MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Chowdhury and a second by Board Member McIntosh,the Board voted five(5)for and zero (0) opposed to approve the.minutes. 2. Receive Financial Report. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member McIntosh and a second by Board Member Hermida, the Board voted five (5) for and zero (0) opposed to approve the Financial Report.The motion carried. 3. Receive Presentation of Parks and Recreation Master:Plan, Director Kate Meacham. Kate Meacham discussed the Master Plan. 4. Vote to Update Signatories on KAB American National Bank of Texas Account. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Walters and a second by Board-.Member Chowdhury,the Board voted five(5) for and zero (0)opposed to approve to update the signatories on the KAB American National Bank of Texas Account'to Andrea Smith and John Philips and remove Steve B.Massey and Donna Kliewer.The motion carried. 5. Receive Update on KAB Event and Projects. , • Recycled Art Contest—October 1 —November 6, 2021 -Andrea Smith discussed the contest. • Allen Recycles Day—November 6,2021 —Andrea Smith discussed the event. • Arbor Day Poster Contest—January 11 through February 8, 2022—Andrea Smith .11 discussed the event rules. • GCAA Application—February 17; 2022—Andrea Smith-discussed the application date. KEEP ALLEN BEAUTIFUL REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 18;2022 PAGE 2 • Beautify Texas Award Applications—March 17, 2022—Andrea Smith and Josue Diaz invited the board to participate in writing the awards. • : Earthfest-April 2, 2022 Josue Diaz updated the board on the location and date. • Great American Cleanup—April 16, 2022—Josue Diaz updated the board onthe date. • 6. Discuss Outreach Initiatives. Andrea Smith discussed staff participation in Boon's Science Fair competition.
