1) Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Community Development Corporation Board present, President Chrisman
called the Meeting to order at 6:59 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019, in the Council Chambers of
Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas.
2) Approve Minutes of the February 18,2019,Meeting
Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Baril and a second by Board Member
Gonzales the Board voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes from the
February 18, 2019,meeting. The motion carried.
3) Introduction to the Allen Community Development Corporation
Brian Bristow,Assistant Parks and Recreation Director provided a summary of eligible projects from
4B Sales Tax proceeds, funding to date for the Corporation,completed projects,and projects
currently underway.
4) Town Hall Meeting
The Board received input from the following Citizens regarding proposed projects from 4B Sales Tax
Proceeds:
Paula Ross,P.O.Box 226,Allen;
Melanie Hughes, 920 Rush Creek Drive,Allen;

Bob Mione, 1314 W.McDermott, Suite 106-812,Allen;
May Choy, 1066 Nancy Lane,Allen;
Melissa Wiley, 1484 Abby Way,Allen;
Tagrid Siddique-Hossain, 1428 Glendover Drive,Allen;
Carrie Lisonbee, 1626 Burberry Drive,Allen
Ken Bylar would like to see the Old Train Depot rebuilt.
The following Citizens spoke against the use of 413 Sales Tax Proceeds for a proposed stadium at
Allen Sports Village:
Fawaz Bham, 1606 Alamosa Drive,Allen;
Melanie Hughes, 920 Rush Creek Drive,Allen; and,
Chris Schulmeister, 605 Granbury Drive,Allen.
Joel Gabrelow, 1357 Francie Way, Allen, requested to know if a stadium qualified for funding from
4B Sales Tax proceeds. City Manager Vargas confirmed a stadium would qualify.

• Vice President Baril thanked City Manager Vargas for his service to the Board and
community,wishing him well upon his retirement.
6) Adjourn
Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Baril and a second by Board Member
Alexander the Board voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the meeting at 7:57 p.m.
The motion carried.
