Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present. • With a quorum of the members present, the Downtown Steering Committee Meeting was called to order by Vice Chair McKenzie at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in the City Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall located at 305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas 75013. 2. Approve Minutes of the March 30,2022,Committee Meeting. Upon a motion by Committee Member Sherlip and a second by Committee Member Galletti, the Committee voted nine (9) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes of the March 30, 2022, Downtown Steering Committee. The motion carried. 3. Discuss Community Feedback Received Regarding Downtown Design Options. Vice Chair McKenzie briefed the Committee members on feedback received regarding the Downtown design options. Vice Chair McKenzie moved to Agenda Item 5. 5. Discuss the Committee's Presentation for May 10,2022,City Council Workshop. Vice Chair McKenzie notified the Committee that the Chair and Vice Chair would be presenting at the City Council Workshop on May 10,2022. 6. Discuss the Process for Drafting of Final Report on the Downtown Steering Committee. Vice Chair McKenzie briefed the Committee on the process leading up to the final report to be presented at the City Council meeting on June 28,2022. Member Vail-Grube provided a brief presentation on programming opportunities. The Committee members discussed programming opportunities for Downtown. 7. Set Next Meeting Date. The next meeting of the Downtown Steering Committee is scheduled for Wednesday,May 25,2022. 8. Adjourn. Upon a motion by Committee Member Acker and a second by Committee Member Schnick, the Committee voted nine (9) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Downtown Steering Committee at 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday,April 27,2022.
