Greg Layton indicated that he would be contacting all persons interested
in the Arts a la Allen Event this week to set up a meeting date for the
first subcommittee meeting on this event.
Don Horton expressed concern over the possibility of not being able to
hold this event at the Joe Farmer Recreation Center. He indicated that
due to development in the area, restrictions would probably be placed on
the size of shells being fired for the fireworks show He indicated that
should the show need to move to another location, the arts event would
not have the benefit of an indoor facility Don indicated he would be
checking with the Fire Marshall regarding this issue, and have some
