during the focus group meetings.
V. DISCUSS FUTURE JOINT MEETING WITH ALLEN
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION BOARD
Barbara Eubanks reported that the Allen Arts Alliance Board has been

VII. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORT ON ARTS A LA ALLEN EVENT -
GREG LAYTON
Greg Layton indicated that he would be contacting all persons interested
in the Arts a la Allen Event this week to set up a meeting date for the
first subcommittee meeting on this event.
Barbara Eubanks offered to get someone to co-chair this event with
Gregg since his professional time is being consumed with a new
business.
Gregg indicated that he would very much appreciate this, and Tess
McKeown offered to chair this event. Greg indicated he would be happy
to support Tess in all endeavors, and thanked her for her willingness to
take over
Following a brief discussion, Evelyn Dawson agreed to handle the
publicity for this event. It was also determined that the Arts a la Allen
event would be better served to piggy back with Springfest rather than
the Allen USA Celebration since that event tended to bring people out
during the daylight hours, rather than late evening. Tess will be working
with Glenda May of Allen Community Outreach regarding joint
programming issues, date, location, etc.
