ALLEN ARTS ALLIANCE BOARD
REGULAR CALLED MEETING
SEPTEMBER 3, 2002 — 6:00 P.M.

There were no guests present.
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Lisa Ellrich called the meeting to order at 6:22 p.m.

No citizens were on hand for comments.
3. APPROVE MINUTES FROM AUGUST 6, 2002 REGULAR CALLED
MEETING
The board voted to move this agenda item to the October meeting agenda.
4. REVIEW STRAGTEGIC PLAN UPDATE
The new Strategic Plan is following.
5. REVIEW PROJECT PROPOSAL GUIDELINES
MOTION: Lynn Moore made a motion to approve the Project Proposal
Guidelines and Criteria. Jennifer Kiser seconded the motion.
6. REVIEW PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FY 2003 AND UPDATE ON FY 2002
MOTION: Lauren Jones made a motion to approve the
presented budget Sandi Acheson seconded the motion.
7. PURCHASE OF M.I.A. 9-11 AMANDA DUNBAR PRINT
MOTION: Jennifer Kiser made a motion to purchase the print.
Lauren Jones seconded the motion. The board agreed
to purchase 2 prints to donate to the fire department.
For each print that the board purchased, Ms. Dunbar agreed to
donate another matching print.
This will provide a print for each Allen Fire Station.
8. COMMITTEE REPORTS
Lynn Moore discussed "Art at Work" and decided to pursue this project
early in 2003.
9. OTHER BUSINESS
The mobile sounds stage is out to bid.
10. CALENDAR
9-11 Commemoration
Tim Derider reminded everyone that the Police and Fire station along with the
Parks Department will hold a service on September 11, 2002.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 9.47 p.m.
