CALL TO ORDER•

The Allen Sign Control Board was called to order by Vice -Chairman
Biggs at 7:45 p.m. at the Allen Municipal Annex, City Council
Chambers, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas 75002.
Approve Minutes
September 9, 1986
(Agenda Item II)
Vice -Chairman Biggs read the agenda item into the record as
follows:
"Approve minutes of September 9, 1986, Regular Meeting."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Karlsruher and a
second by Board Member Cahill, the Board voted
4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the minutes of
September 9, 1986, as submitted. The motion
carried.

Election of Officers (Agenda Item III)
Vice -Chairman Biggs read the agenda item into the record as
follows:
"Election of officers."
Chairman
Board Member Chrisman placed the name of Rick Alexander in
nomination for the office of Chairman.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Karlsruher and a second
by Board Member Chrisman, the Board voted 4 FOR and
0 OPPOSED to close the nominations for Chairman.
Rick Alexander was elected as Chairman of the Allen Sign Control
Board by acclamation.
Vice -Chairman
Board Member Cahill placed the name of Harold Biggs in nomination
for the office of Vice -Chairman.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Karlsruher and a second
by Board Member Cahill, the Board voted 4 FOR and
0 OPPOSED to close the nominations for Vice -Chairman.
Harold Biggs was elected Vice -Chairman of the Allen Sign
Control Board by acclamation.
Secretary
Board Member Karlsruher placed the name of George Chrisman in
nomination for the office of Secretary.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Cahill and a second by
Board Member Karlsruher, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0
OPPOSED to close the nominations for Secretary.
George Chrisman was elected as Secretary of the Allen Sign
Control Board by acclamation.
Renewal - Class 4 Sign
Allentown Center (Agenda Item IV)
Vice -Chairman Biggs read the agenda item into the record as
follows:
"Consider renewal of one Class 4 sign for Allentown
Center - first renewal, North Greenville Avenue."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Karlsruher and a second
by Board Member Cahill, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0
OPPOSED to approve the renewal of one Class 4 sign for
Allentown Center. The motion carried.

Adjourn:
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Karlsruher and a second
by Board Member Cahill, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED
to adjourn the Allen Sign Control Board at 7:55 p.m.
The motion carried.
