Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present.
With a quomm of the Allen City Council and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Steering
Committee Members present, the Allen City Council Special Called Joint Meeting with the CIP
Steering Committee was called to order by Mayor Terrell, in conjunction with CIP Steering
Committee Chair Farmer, at 6.28 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015, in the pav ikon at The
Courses at Walters Creek, 7201 Chase Oaks Boulevard, Plano, Texas 75025
Receive Steering Committee Recommendation Presentation.
The Allen City Council received the Subcommittee Recommendation Presentation as
follows:
Joe Farmer, Steering Committee Chair
Craig Gillis, Public Safety Subcommittee Chair
Mary Vad-Grube, Parks and Recreation Subcommittee Chair
Kathy Litmas, Public Facilities Subcommittee Chair
George Chrisman, Streets/Drainage Subcommittee Chair
Mary Vail -Grube, Public Art CIP Steering Committee Member

3. Discussion Regarding Committee Recommendation.
Dr. Farmer discussed the Steering Committee and staff roles moving forward. The following
dates were highlighted:
- January 26, 2016 - Public Hearing on Bond Election
February 9, 2016 - City Council Order an Election
Feb -May 2016 - Communication of G.O Bond Package
- Mav 7, 2016 - Bond Election
4. Adjourn.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Herald and a second by Councdmember Kizer, the
Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Allen City Council Special
Called Joint Meeting with the CIP Steering Committee at 7*43 p in Thursday, December 3,
2015 The motion tamed.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by CIP Steering Committee Member Chrisman and a second by CIP
Steering Committee Member Lihnas, the Commitee voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed
to adjourn the Allen City Council Special Called Joint Meeting with the CIP Steering
Committee at 7 43 p in. Thursday, December 3, 2015 The motion carried.
These minutes approved on the 12°i day of January 2016.
