Michael Simpson, Executive Director Mary Vail -Grube, Administrative Director Jennifer Kirby, Sr. Administrative Assistant Tom Brandt, ACCC Attornev Owner City Staff: Henry Hill, City of Frisco Frank Turner, City of Plano Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present With a quorum of the Board of Directors present, the Special Called Meetmg of the Arts of Collin County Commission, Inc. was called to order by President Baggen at 3:02 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, in the Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Secretary Nies and a second by Vice President Mons, the Board of Directors voted Seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to approve and adopt the items on the consent agenda as follows: 1. Approve Minutes of the February 19, 2010 Special Called Meeting. 2. Approve Minutes of the March 4, 2010 Special Called Meeting. 3. Approve Minutes of the March 11, 2010 Special Called Meeting. 4. Receive Financial Report for the period ended February, 2010. The motion carried. Set the date for Budget Workshop in April 2010. (Mike Simpson, Executive Director and Mary Vail -Grube, Administrative Director) There was no action taken on this matter. 6. Appointment and reappointment of Advisory Committee Members with Expiring Terms. ( Mike Simpson, Executive Director and Mary Vail -Grube, Administrative Director) MOTION: Upon a motion made by Vice President Muns and a second by Director Sundell, the Board of Directors voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adopt a resolution to appoint and reappoint the Advisory Committee Members with expiring terms. The motion carried. 7 Review of Arts of Collin County Policies and Procedures. (Mike Simpson, Executive Director and Mary Vail -Grube, Administrative Director) Policies and Procedures were reviewed. 8. Executive Director's Report. (Mike Simpson, Executive Director) a. Upcoming Events — • April -Wine Tasting Hosted by Larry and Martha Hansard • April 8 - Joint Meeting with Frisco City Council Received Executive Director's Report. Public Comment 9 General Discussion There were no comments. The Regular Session was recessed at 4:08 p.m. Executive Session In accordance with the Texas Government Code, the Arts of Collin County Commission, Inc convened into Executive Session at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, in the Council Conference Room, 305 Century Parkway, .Allen, Texas, in order to discuss matters pertaining to: Section 551.071 -- Legal Advice - Bid Negotiations and Contract Negotiations. ARTS OF COLLIN COUNTY COMMISSION, INC. SPECIAL CALLED MEETING MARCH 30, 2010 Page 3 of 3 The Executive Session Adloumed at 4.42 p.m. 10. Reconvene and Consider Action on Items Discussed during Executive Session. The Board of Directors reconvened into regular session at 4:42 on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in the Council Conference Room of the Allen City Hall. There was no action taken on items discussed during Executive Session. Adjournment MOTION: Upon a motion made by Vice President Muns and a second by Director Yancev, the Board of Directors voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Special Called Meeting of the Arts of Collin County Commission, Inc. at 4:43 p.m. on Tuesdav, March 30, 2010.
