HomeMy WebLinkAboutMin - Keep Allen Beautiful Board - 2003 - 03/29 - Special CalledKABB Members Present Susan Bernard, Chair Ron Wheless Brian Casstevens Cynthia (Syrme) Ferguson Mary Fritsche Guest Present Sue Berry Call to Order With a quorum of the Board members present, Chairperson Susan Bernard called the Keep Allen Beautiful Regular Meeting to order at 4:34 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2003, in the Allen Public Library Conference Room, Century Parkway, Two Allen Civic Plaza, Allen, and Texas 2. Introduction of Guests Sue Berry, newly appointed KAB member, was not officially introduced to the Board. 3. Modification and/or Chance Current By-laws. Board members went through Current By-laws, paragraph by paragraph. Discussed each item thoroughly Worked out best solutions by vote and consensus for each item as it was discussed and agreed upon by Board Members. Notification of attendance criteria was tabled, in relation to who was to be notified. Discussion of Roberts Rules of Order between members was discussed and debated. a) Decision the subject would be addressed in another place besides this meeting. NOTE: Prefer Board Members be City of Allen residents and will verify ordinance states such. Motion made to add a Mission Statement made by Ron Wheless. Second by Synne Ferguson. Completed discussions, corrections and debates up to last two sections. Decision by board to complete at the next Board meeting due to time constraints and the Library closing.
