KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF COLLIN I
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the City Council of the City
of. Allen, Texas, has been petitioned to annex the
property herein described and accordingly, after due
notice, a public hearing will be held by the City
Council of the City of Allen, Texas, on the 21st day
of March , 1974, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. to
determine whether or not annexation proceedings should
be commenced on the property described per plat attached
marked Exhibit "A".
The purpose of this meeting being to determine
whether the aforementioned property should be annexed
to the City of Allen.

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF" _
ALLEN, TEXAS; EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF
SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE THIS TERRITORY WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
HEREOF.
WHEREAS, application having been duly made for
annexing territory to the City of Allen, Texas, which
application is in the form of a petition duly and
legally executed and filed with the Mayor of the City
of Allen, Texas, and the Mayrhaving certified the same
to the Council to the City of Allen, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Allen, Texas,
has investigated into and determined that all of the
facts contained in the petition are true; and
WHEREAS, the territory to be annexed does not
exceed that amount authorized by law; and
WHEREAS,,all legal notices required for annexation
have been given in the manner and form set forth by law
and a public hearing was held not more than twenty (20)
days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the institution
of such annexation proceedings and all other requirements
of notice and completion of such annexation procedure
being fulfilled; and
WHEREAS, said public hearing offered each person
interested in the proposed annexation an oppo'r tuni ty to
be heard; and
WHEREAS, Council of the City of Allen, Texas, has
investigated and determined that it will be advantageous
and beneficial to the City of Allen, Texas, and its
inhabitants as well as hereinafter described territory
to annex such territory to the City of Allen, Texas:
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALLEN , TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the territory described as per
plat attached and marked Exhibit "A", and be and the
same is hereby annexed to the City of Allen, Texas.
SECTION 2: That from and after the passage of
this Ordinance, said territory shall be a part of the
City of Allen, Texas, and the inhabitants thereof shall
be entitled to all the rights, privileges and immunities
of all other citizens of the City of Allen, Texas, and
shall be bound by all the ordinances and regulations
enacted pursuant to and in conformity with the general
laws of the State of Texas.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage and approval and it is
so ordained.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, on this the 28 day of
March , 1974.

SITUATED in Collin County, Texas, a part of the L.K. Pegues Survey,
Abstract No. 702, the Henry Wetsel Survey, Abstract No. 1026, the Lewis
Wetsel Survey Abstract No. A-978, the Peter Wetsel Survey, Abstract
No. 990, and the James Reed Survey, Abstract No. 758 and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron stake in the north line of the Lewis Wetsel
Survey, Abstract No. 978, said point. being S. 89° 54' 00" East, a
distance of 2687.93 feet from the northwest corner of the Lewis Wetsel
Survey, said iron stake being N. 890 54' 00" West, 531.00 feet from the
intersection of the north line of the Lewis Wetsel Survey and the west
R.O.W. line of State Highway No. 5;
THENCE S. 000 06' 00" East with an established fence line and hedge row
a distance of 1064.50 feet to a stake;
