KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the City Council of the City
of Allen, Texas, has been petitioned to annex the property
herein described and accordingly, after due notice, a
public hearing will be held by the City Council of the
City of Allen, Texas, on the 20th day of June
1974, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. to determine whether or
not annexation proceedings should be commenced on the
property described per plat attached marked Exhibit "A".
The purpose of this meeting being to determine
whether the aforementioned property should be annexed
to the City of Allen.

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS; EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF
SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE THIS TERRITORY WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE HEREOF.
WHEREAS, application having been duly made for
annexing territory to the City of Allen, Texas, which
application is in the form of a petition duly and
legally executed and filed with the Mayor of the City
of Allen, Texas, and the Mayor having certified the
same to the Council to the City of Allen, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Allen, Texas,
has investigated into and determined that all of the
facts contained in the petition are true; and
WHEREAS, the territory to be annexed does not
exceed that amount authorized by law; and
WHEREAS, all legal notices required for annexation
have been given in the manner and form set forth by law
and a public hearing was held not more than twenty (20)
days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the institution 4
of such annexation proceedings and all other requirements
of notice and completion of such annexation procedure
being fulfilled; and
WHEREAS, said public hearing offered each person
interested in the proposed annexation an opportunity
to be heard; and
WHEREAS, Council of the City of Allen, Texas, has
investigated and determined that it will be advantageous
and beneficial to the City of Allen, Texas, and its
inhabitants as well as hereinafter described territory
to annex such territory to the City of Allen, Texas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the territory described as per
plat attached and marked Exhibit "A", be.,; and the same
is hereby annexed to the City of Allen, Texas.
SECTION 2: That from and after the passage of
this Ordinance, said territory shall be a part of the
City of Allen, Texas, and the inhabitants thereof shall
be entitled to all the rights, privileges and immunities
of all other citizens of the City of Allen, Texas, and
shall be bound by all the ordinances and regulations
enacted pursuant to and in conformity with the general
laws of the State of Texas . Property shall be zoned R-2 (Residential)
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage and approval and it is
so ordained.

EXHIBIT "A"
SITUATED in Collin County, Texas, a part of the
McBain Jamison Survey, Abstract No. 491, and being all
of a tract as described in a deed in Volume 414, Page
453 of the Collin County Deed Records and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron stake in the Southeast corner
of the said tract in the center of a public orad and the
Southeast corner of the said Survey;
THENCE NOM 88 degrees 26 minutes West with the
center line of the public road and the south line of
the said survey a distance of 944.8 feet to an iron stake;
THENCE NORTH 89 degrees 49 minutes West with the
center line of the public road along the South line of
the survey a distance of 900.6 feet to an iron stake at
the center line intersection of two public roads;
THENCE NORTH 35 degrees 01 minutes East with the
center of a public road a distance of 3208.1 feet to
an iron stake in the Northwest corner thereof;
THENCE SOUTH 88 degrees 14 minutes East with the
North line of the said tract a distance of 80'.3 feet
to an iron stake at the Northeast corner thereof, and
the east line of the said survey;
THENCE SOUTH 1 degree 38 minutes 31 seconds West
with an established fence line and hedge row along the
east line of the tract and the east line of the said
survey a distance of 2654.7 feet to the place of beginning,
CONTAINING 58.460 acres of land.
