AN O'RDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS; EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF
SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE THIS TERRITORY WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
HEREOF.
WHEREAS, application having been duly made for
annexing territory to the City of Allen, Texas, which
application is in the form of a petition duly and
legally executed and filed with the Mayor of the City
of Allen, Texas, and the Mayor having certified the
same to the Council to the City of Allen, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Allen, Texas,
has investigated into and determined that all of the
facts contained in the petition are true; and
WHEREAS, the territory to be annexed does not
exceed that amount authorized by law; and
WHEREAS, all legal notices required for annexation
have been given in the manner and form set forth by law
and a public hearing was held not more than twenty (20)
days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the institution
of such annexation proceedings and all other requirements
of notice and completion of such annexation procedure
being fulfilled; and
WHEREAS, said public hearing offered each person
interested in the proposed annexation an opportunity
to be heard•; and
WHEREAS, Council of the City of Allen, Texas, has
investigated 'and deterrLned that it will be advantageous
and beneficial to the City of Allen, Texas, and its
inhabitants as well as hereinafter described territory to
annex such territory to the City of Allen, Texas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the territory described as per
plat attached and marked Exhibit "A", be, and the same
is hereby annexed to the City of Allen, Texas.
SECTION 2: That from and after the passage of
this Ordinance, said territory shall be a part of the
City df Allen, Texas, and the inhabitants thereof shall
be entitled to all the rights, privileges and immunities
of all other citizens of the City of Allen, Texas, and
shall be bound by all the Ordinances and regulations
enacted pursuant to and in conformity with the general
laws of the State of Texas. Zoning shall be CF (Commmity Facility).
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage and approval and it is
so ordained.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, on this the 15th day of
May , 1975.

EXHIBIT "A"
TRACT ONE:
SITUATED in Collin County, Texas, in the William Perrin
Survey, Abstract No. 708, and being 1.17 acres out of the
North portion of 85.26 acres described as First Tract in deed
from Richard B. Shults, et ux, to Homer Cuffman, dated March
15, 1945, and recorded in Volume 352, Page 244, of the Collin
County Deed Records;
BEGINNING at a stake in the North line of the William
Perrin Survey said stake being at the Northwest corner of the
Allen Cemetary property.
THENCE SOUTH 4 deg. West 329.4 feet to a stake at fence
corner at the Southwest corner of the said Allen Cemetary
property.
THENCE SOUTH 89 3/4 deg. West 155.6 feet to a stake.
THENCE NORTH 4 deg. East 329.4 feet to a stake in the
North line of the said William Perrin Survey.
THENCE NORTH 89 3/4 deg. East 155.6 feet to the place of
beginning,
CONTAINING 1.17 acres of land, the said 1.17 acres above
described being off the East side of 4.39 acres described in
partial release deed dated December 21, 1949, from The Great
American Life Underwriters, Inc. to Richard B. Shults, et ux.
TRACT TWO:
SITUATED in Collin County on the waters of Cotton Wood
Creek;
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of the William Perrin
Survey;
THENCE WEST 6 chs. and 10 links;
THENCE SOUTH 3 chains and 69 links;
THENCE SOUTH 51 East 2 chs;
THENCE EAST with the center of Ravine to the East Boundary
line of said William Perrin Survey;
THENCE NORTH 4 chs. and 95 links to the place of beginning;
CONTAINING 2 9/10 acres of land more or less.
