Present: Mayor Frank Bugger
Councilmen: Clifford Hart, LeRoy Ewen and Mack Holloway
Absent: C.D. Whitaker and Bob Lowman.
Motion Roy Ewen Second Mack Holloway that minutes of previous meeting be
approved. Motion Carried 3 For 0 Against.
Fire Chief Ronald Gentry appeared before Council in behalf of the Fire Department,
asking that the Council approve the continuation of the payment that the City is
making to members of the Department that attend the Fire Meetings. After some
discussion on the subject, a Motion was made by Mack Holloway Seconded by
Clifford Hart that the City Continue the payment for another 120 day period,
this period to include the Month of December. Motion Carried 3 For 0 Against.
Chief Gentry also asked if Council would consider sending 3 men to a Fireman's
Training School to be held some time this summer, at an approximate cost of
$1$0.00 per man. Council agreed to pay for sending 3 men to this School.
John McCraw appeared before Council in behalf of the City of Fairview to make
�^ a proposal on setting the boundry lines between the two Cities. The City of
Fairview proposed that they extend their boundry lines South along Central
Expressway to Rowlett Road and then proceed Eastward along the North Boundry
line of the Allen Independent School District. Mayor Dugger informed the
representatives of Fairview, that since all of the City's Councilmen were not
present he felt that an answer could not be given at this time to their pro-
posal, however, as soon as all Councilmen could be contacted the City Attorney
would contact the City of Fairview aEdtinfwiethakenfoihbh6lt7tecdeoieion on
this matter.
Ken Lambert, City Manager for the City of Plano, spoke to Council in regards
to the Council adopting a Resolution or writing to the President of the Texas
Municipal League asking that the League sponsor a-,bill'in,thia session of the
Legislature, forming a State Zoning Ordinance on lands outside of the Corporate
Limits of Cities throughout the State. Council agreed to support this measure.
Gilbert Rogers and Ross love appeared before Council in behalf of Goff & Rogers
Properties seeking approval of the General Development Concept of the 513 acres
of land they own adjoining the South portion of the City. Mr. Rogers proposed
to build R-6 Type residences on this portion that was formerly planned for
Mobil Hames. The Mobile Home Park to be completely deleted from the Plan. Mr.
Rogers, also stated that they would be ready to start work on this plan in April
or May if Council approved their Plane.
Motion Roy Ewen Second Clifford Hart that Council approve the General Development
�^+ Concept Plan as presented by Goff & Rollers. Motion Carried 3 For 0 Against.

A petition was read to Council from the Allendale Church of Christ asking the
City to pave Jupiter Road South from F.M. $2170 past their property. Council
felt that at this time the City was not f3miancially in position to do this
work. A letter is to be sent the Church of Councilts decision on this petition.

Motion Clifford Hart Second Mack Holloway that meeting adjourn. Motion Carried
3 For 0 Against.
