SECTION 2: That it is further found and determined that the results of the election as canvassed and tabulated in the preamble hereof_ reflect the expressed desires of those persons voting at said election. SECTION 3: That a majority of the electors voting at said election having voted in favor of propositions numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, this City Council hereby declares that it is authorized and empowered to issue bonds of the City in the amount and for the purpose stated in said propositions numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9; all as more fully set forth and identified in the proceedings calling said bond election. ATTEST: ty Secretary, City o llen, Texas (City Seal) J M;R ' A %, ayor, C1 y of Allen, Texas MINUTES PERTAINING TO PASSAGE AND ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING RESULT OF A CITY BOND ELECTION THE STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF COLLIN § CITY OF ALLEN § ON THIS, the 2nd day of jul,1979, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, convened in SPECIAL session at the regular meeting place thereof in the City Hall, the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, hour, place and subject thereof, having been given as prescribed by Article 6252-17, Section 3A, V.A.T.C.S., the following members being present and in attendance, to wit: MICKEY PIERSON MAYOR JOE FARMER MAYOR PRO TEM GLEN ANDREW ) CHARLES CHANDLER ) H.R. DAUGHERTY ) ALDERMEN REX WOMACK ) RICHARD L. CHUMBLEY ) and with the following absent: C constituting a quorum; and among of er usiness considered at said meeting, a resolution was submitted to the City Council for adoption and passage, such resolution being entitled as follows: "Resolution Canvassing Returns and Declari 179" Results of Bond Election Held June 30.;_ The resolution was read in full. Thereupon, Alderman Andrew moved for its adoption, and the motion was seconae y Alerman N Chumblev The motion carrying with it the adoption of the resolution prevailed by the following vote: AYES: Aldermen Farmer, Andrew, -, Daugherty, Womack and Chumbley. NOES: None. The Presiding Officer announced that the resolution had been passed and adopted. PIERSON and CHARLES CHANDLER, yor and Councilmember, respectively, of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that we were duly and sufficiently notified, in advance, of the time, place and !purpose of a special meeting of the City Council held on (July 2, 1979, at which meeting the City Council passed a resolution canvassing the returns and declaring result of la bond election held on June 30, 1979, and that we consented, lin advance, to the holding of such special meeting for such jpurpose and DO HEREBY FURTHER WAIVE any and all irregularities `to the holding of said meeting.
