A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF CER-
TAIN RIGHT-OF-WAY EITHER BY PURCHASE OR EMINENT DOM-
AIN AND AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF APPRAISERS AND
ATTORNEYS AS NECESSARY.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Allen, Collin
County, Texas, that the City Manager be directed to acquire and he is hereby
authorized to acquire the right-of-way necessary for the improvement of
McDermott Drive from Joe B. Young, Inc., as described in Exhibit "A" at-
tached hereto, either by purchase or by eminent domain proceedings and he is
further authorized to employ appraisers and attorneys, as needed, to do the
same.

OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, ON THIS THE 17TH DAY OF
MARCH , 1988.

FIELD NOTES FOR PARCEL 1

SITUATED in the William Perrin Survey, Abstract No. 708, City of Allen, Collin
County, Texas.
BEING 0.1599 acre tract of land more or less and being a survey of part of the
Premises described in a deed from Shell Oil Company to Joe Bob Young d/b/a/
Young Oil Company, dated March 5, 1974, recorded in Volume 906, Page 165 of
the Collin County Land Records, being described by metes and bounds as
follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin set at the northwest corner of said Premises, in
the east right-of-way line of U.S. Highway No. 75 and the south
right-of-way line of Farm Road No. 2170;
THENCE Easterly with the north line of said Premises and with said south
right--of-way line as follows:
(1) North 71042'23" East, 47.49 feet to an iron pin set for an angle
point;
(2) South 89°52'50" East, 105.0 feet to an iron pin set at the northeast
corner of said Premises, in said south right-of-way line for a
corner;
(3) THENCE South 19026'50" West, 52.99 feet along the west line of a tract of
sand deeded to Tomlin Properties, Inc., Trustee, dated September 29,
1978, and recorded in Volume 1138, Page 611 of the Collin County Land
Records and with the east line of said Premises to a point in said east
line for a corner; from which an iron pin set at the southeast corner of
said Premises lies South 19°26'50" West, 112.01 feet;
(4) THENCE North 89°52'50" West, 146.18 feet to a point in the west line of
said Premises, in said east right-of-way line of U.S. Highway No. 75 for
a corner; from which an iron pin set at the southwest corner of said
Premises lies South 21°26'43" West, 112.43 feet;
(5) THENCE North 21°26'43" East, 37.57 feet with said west line and said east
rigFt--of-way line to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 6,965 square
feet or 0.1599 acres of land, more or less.
