A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, ORDERING AN ELECTION TO BE HELD ON
JANUARY 18, 1992, FOR THE PURPOSE OF VOTING FOR OR AGAINST
A PROPOSITION ALLOWING FOR THE ADOPTION OF A SALES AND USE
TAX FOR THE PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF NEW AND EXPANDED
BUSINESS ENTERPRISES AT THE RATE OF j OF ONE PERCENT; DESIG-
NATING LOCATION OF POLLING PLACE; AND ORDERING NOTICES OF
ELECTION TO BE GIVEN AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW IN CONNECTION
WITH SUCH ELECTION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. An election is hereby ordered to be held on Saturday, January 18, 1992,
for the purpose of voting for or against a proposition allowing for the adoption of a sales
and use tax for the promotion and development of new and expanded business
enterprises at the rate of z of one percent.
SECTION 2. The polling place and the county election precincts whose qualified voters
shall cast ballots at such location in the City of Allen 1992 special municipal election are
as follows:

5, 6, 7, 40, 59, 80, 82
Polling Place
Rountree Elementary School
800 East Main Street
Allen, Texas
Election polls shall be open from 7: 00 a. m. until 7: 00 p. m.
SECTION 3. Absentee votes by personal appearance shall be cast in the Allen Municipal
Annex, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas, beginning on Monday, December 30, 1991 and
continuing through Tuesday, January 14, 1992, during the normal working hours the
City Secretary's office is regularly open for business, 8:00 a. m. until 5:00 p.m.
SECTION 4. The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to publish and/or
post, in the time and manner prescribed by law, all notices required to be so published
and/or posted in connection with the conduct of this election

To the Registered Voters of the City of
Allen, Texas:
Notice is hereby given that the polling
place listed below will be open from 7:00
a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, January,
18,1992, for the purpose of voting for or
against a proposition allowing for the adop-
tion of a sales and use tax for the promotion
and development of new and expanded
business enterprises at the rate of 1h of one
percent.

Absentee voting by personal appearance
will be conducted each weekday at:

during regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. and

ber 30, 1991 and ending on Tuesday, Ja-
nuary 14, 1992.
Applications for ballot by mail shall be
