Present: Mayor Frank Dogger
Councilmen: C.D. Whitaker, Bob Lowman, Clifford Mart, Johnmy Pannell
& Johnnie Blahkenship.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnnie Blankenship that minutes of previous
meeting be approved as read. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Public Hearing was held on the annexation request of Oliver Damdels to
annex property owned by him into the Corporate Limits of the City. There was
no one present to protest this request. Motion Bob Lawman Second Johnny Pannell
that this request be approved and Ordinance No. 133 be approved on this annexation.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Public Hearing was held to consider annexation request of HBH Corporation
on 4.468 acres of land in the McBadn Jameson Survey. There was no one present to
protest this request. Motion Johnny Pannell Second Bob Lowman that Ordinance No.
134 be approved on this annexation request. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Reccomendation was read from the Planning & Zoning Commission that Lots 3C
4C - Block J Old Donation be rezoned from 1-36 Classifaction to IR Classifaction.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that September 21st be set as date for
Public Hearing on this request. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Bob Lawman that upon the reccomendation of the
City Engineer, Walter F. Hicks, the plat on Allenwood Heights Addition be re-
jected for further planning. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Request from Howard Robertson, Band Director for The School, to mark off
and close Jupiter Road during Band Practice was received by Council. Due to the
danger involved, Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Bob Lawman that this request be denied.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.

Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker that bills presented with the exception
of the bill for $700.00 for the City Audit of Ussery,Hendricks & Smith, be app-
roved. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Johnny Pannell Second Clifford Hart that Ordinance be drawn making the
alley that connects East Belmont & East McDermott just west of the Elementary
gym one way to traffic going South and a 10 Mile per hour speed limit be posted
for All traffic on this alley. Motion Uarried 5 For 0 Against.

Notion Johnny Pannell Second Clifford Hart that Ordinance on Reward for
Arson be ammended to change the amount of the reward from $50.00 to $250.00.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Clifford Hart Second Johnnie Blankenship that salary of Anthogq
Hancock be increased $76.50 par month effective September let. Notion Carried
5 For 0 Against.
