Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that minutes of previous
meeting be approved as read. Motion Carried 3 For 0 Against.
Motion Clifford Hart Second C.D. Whitaker that bill from Ussery, Smith
& Hendricks for the 1971 City Audit be approved. Motion Carried 3 For 0 Against.
1-bbII6 Hdariig was held on rezoning request of Dessie B. Clay to change
the zoning on Late 3C -4C - Block J - old Donation from R-16 to LR Classifaction.
There was no opposition present for this hearing. Motion Johnny Pannell Second
Clifford Mart that this request be approved. Motion Carried 3 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that Ordinance No. 135 be
approved making the alley running North & South on the West side of the Elem-
entary School Gym one way to traffic going South. Motion Carried 3 For 0 Against.
Motion Johnny Pannell Second C.D. Whitaker that Ordinance N 136 be approved
increasing the reward for Arson from $ 50.00 to $ 250.00. Motion Carried 3 For
E Against.
City Engineer Walter F. Hicks, Jr. appeared before Council and spoke on
the extenaiom of a water main South along Jupiter Road to provide water for
future development in this section. Notion C.D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart
that Mr. Hicks be given authority to place the cost of construction of this
line into the same contract for the water line from the North Texas Municipal
Water District. Motion Carried 3 For 0 Against.
Letter was read from the City of Wylie expressing appreciation to the
Fire Department for helping with a Fire in their City recently.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that bills presented be approved.
Motion Carried 3 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Bob Lowman that meeting adjourn. Motion Carried
b For 0 Against.
