A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS,
DETERMINING THE DESIRE AND INTENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO SELL
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF U.S. 75, WEST OF FUTURE
CENTURY DRIVE, AND SOUTH OF MCDERMOTT DRIVE IN ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen has determined that it is appropriate to sell certain
property located at east of U.S. 75, west of future Century Drive, and south of McDermott Drive in the
Central Business District of the City of Allen; and,
WHEREAS, Section 272.001(a) of the Texas Local Government Code allows for the sale of land after
notice of said sale is published in a newspaper of general circulation in the county, said notice to include
a description of the land and the procedure by which sealed bids to purchase the land may be submitted;
and,
WHEREAS, as a further requirement of Section 272.001(a) of the Texas Local Government Code,
notice of the intent by the City to sell the land is to be published in the newspaper on two separate dates
and the sale made at least fourteen (14) days after the date of the second publication.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
TEXAS, THAT.
SECTION 1: It is the desire of the City Council of the City of Allen to offer for sale, in one or more
parcels, the property located east of U.S. 75, west of future Century Drive and south of McDermott
Drive, in Allen, Collin County, Texas, said property being further described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes.
SECTION 2: In order to establish the fair market value of the property, an appraisal shall be
completed.
SECTION 1 At the time the City Council deems it appropriate to offer this property for sale, a
notice of sale will be published in The Allen American, the official newspaper of the City of Allen, on
two separate dates and sealed bids will be received at the Allen Municipal Annex for at least two weeks
following the second publication.
SECTION 4: Pursuant to Texas Local Government Code §272.001(d), the City reserves the right to
refuse any bid or offer or enter into any contract to sell the property in question.

BEING a tract of land containing 10.441 acres, located in the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, part
of the William Perrin Survey, Abstract No. 708, being part of Lot 2, Revised Allen City Complex
Addition as recorded in Cabinet G, Sheet 288 of the Map Records of Collin County, Texas (MRCCT),
and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows (bearings referenced to said
Addition):
BEGINNING at an iron rod found for the southwest corner of said Lot 2, same being the northwest
corner of a called 92 acre parcel described by Clerks File 1992 0737 1836, Official Records of Real
Property for Collin County, Texas (ORRPCCT), said point being on the east right-of-way for U.S.
Highway 75 (variable width);
THENCE North 14'03'16" East with said east right-of-way, 499.79 feet to an iron rod, the northwest
corner of said Addition and the southwest corner of a called 11.189 acre tract described by File No.
1992 0748 0794 ORRPCCT;
THENCE South 75°45'48" East with a line common to said 11.189 acres and said Addition, at 338.67
feet to a found iron rod for said parcels, continuing for a total distance of 408.67 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE North 84'01'10" East, 632.19 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 00°16'35" East, 433.42 feet to a point on the south line of aforesaid Addition;
THENCE South 89009'48" West with said south line, 1148.44 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and

BEING a tract of land containing 2.766 acres, located in the City of Alien, Collin County, Texas, part
of the W 11iam Perrin Survey, Abstract No. 708, being part of the revised Lot 2, Allen City Complex
Addition as recorded in Cabinet G, Sheet 288 of the Map Records of Collin County, Texas (MRCCT),
and being; more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows (bearings referenced to said
