RESOLUTION NO. 4011-7-23(R)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING VARIOUS FEES SET FORTH IN THE CITY OF
ALLEN FEE SCHEDULE INCLUDING CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION FEES
AUTHORIZED BY CHAPTER 4 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES AND SECTION 3.12
OF THE ALLEN LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT FEES
AUTHORIZED BY CHAPTER 8 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; AND BUILDING
PERMIT, INSPECTION, AND VARIOUS OTHER FEES AUTHORIZED BY THE
ALLEN LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary and in the public interest to adopt this resolution for the purpose
amending the City of Allen Fee Schedule by adopting and/or amending various fees and charges authorized by
the Code of Ordinance and/or the Allen Land Development Code in order to recover a substantial portion of
the City' s costs related to providing the related services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City of Allen Fee Schedule is hereby by adding and/or amending as set forth below the
various identified fees and charges as authorized by the City of Allen Code of Ordinances, as amended, and/or
the Allen Land Development Code, as amended:
BUILDING PERMIT FEES
Contractor/Inspector Registration Fees
Fee for all contractors who are required to be registered
with the City pursuant to Section 3.10 of the Allen
Land Development Code and/or Chapter 4 of the Code
of Ordinances. The contractor registration fee shall be
paid in addition to other provisions and fees required.
$50.00 (annually)
Re-Inspection and After Hours Fees
1st Reinspection Fee $75.00
2nd Reinspection Fee $100.00
3rd Reinspection Fee $125.00
After-Hours Fee $75.00/hour, 2 hour minimum
Inspections (no fee otherwise specified) $75.00/hour
Use of Outside consultants for plan checking and/or

New Construction – Single-Family, Duplex & Townhome
Residential – Single-Family, Duplex, and Townhome $0.55/square foot plus $0.15/square foot for
plan review
Residential Addition and Accessory Structures in
excess of 400 square feet
