Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Board Members present, 1st Vice Chair Williams called the meeting to order at 6:00
p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers at Allen City Hall,305 Century Parkway,Allen, Texas, 75013.

Consent Agenda(Routine Board business. Consent Agenda is approved by a single majority vote. Items
may be removed for open discussion by a request from a Board member or member of staff)
1. Approve minutes from the May 8,2023, Special Called Meeting.
Motion: Upon a Motion by 1st Vice-Chair Westgard, and a second by Board Member Gould,the
Board voted 6 IN FAVOR and 0 OPPOSED, to approve the Consent Agenda item, as
presented.
The motion carried.
Regular Agenda
2. Sign Control Board Public Hearing — Conduct a Public Hearing and consider a request to
authorize a wall sign pursuant to Planned Development No. 134A in Ordinance No. 3761-7-
20 Section 10.B.7.a; located on Lot 1, Block H, The Farm, generally located at the northeast
corner of Alma Drive and Ridgeview Drive (commonly known as 1287 Blue Tractor Lane).

Kim Yockey, Senior Planner,presented the item to the Board. She noted staff is in support of the item.
Chair Williams opened the public hearing.
The following individual registered their support but did not wish to speak on the item:
• Matt Miller, Wood Partners, 5440 Harvest Hill Road, Suite 206,Dallas, TX
With no one speaking, Chair Williams closed the public hearing.
The Board discussed similar PD variance requests,and if changes to this sign would result in an additional
Sign Control Board Meeting.
Motion: Upon a Motion by Board Member Thomas, and a second by 2°d Vice-Chair Moon, the
Board voted 6 IN FAVOR and 0 OPPOSED,to approve a wall sign as shown for Lot 1,
Block H,The Farm Addition pursuant to Section 10.B.7.a of Ordinance No.3761-7-20,as
presented.
The motion carried.

Executive Session was not held.
Adjournment
The meeting adjourned at 6:07 p.m.
