With a quorum of the Parks and Recreation Board present, Chair McIntosh called the Meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2011, at the Allen Senior Recreation Center. Joint Meeting Community Development Corporation Board and Parks and Recreation Board November 14, 2011 Page 2 2) Approve Minutes of the October 17, 2011, Meeting Motion: Upon a motion by CDC Board Member Kessler and a second by CDC Board Member Simmons, the CDC Board voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes from the October 17, 2011, meeting. The motion carried. 3) Motion to Cancel the December 19, 2011, Allen Community Development Corporation Board of Directors Meeting Motion: Upon a motion by CDC Board Member Lawson and a second by CDC Board Member Simmons, the CDC Board voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to cancel the December 19, 2011, Board meeting. The motion carried. 4) Other Business a) Sales Tax Analysis b) Balance Sheet c) Discussion of Completed Approved Project Status Report d) Discussion of Active Project Status Report e) Discussion of Project Status Report f) Discussion of Project Map 5) Election of Officers for FY 2010-11 for Parks and Recreation Board Todd McIntosh, Chair, Parks and Recreation Board opened the Boor for nominations of Chair, Vice -Chair and Secretary. The following nominations were made: Chair: Todd McIntosh Vice -Chair: Libby Jones Secretary, Tricia Losavio Chair McIntosh closed the call for nominations and proceeded to the vote. Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Airhart and a second by Board Member Cowart, the Board voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to approve the nominations for all board positions. The motion carried. 6) Approve Minutes of the August 8, 2011, Parks and Recreation Board Meeting Motion: Upon a motion by Parks and Recreation Board Member Losavio and a second by Parks and Recreation Board Member Jones, the Parks and Recreation Board voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes from the August 8, 2011, meeting. The motion carried. H Chair McIntosh turned the floor over to Board Member Burgess for presentation of the nominees. The nominees included: Teri Ito, Richard Simms and Orene Beck. Chair McIntosh closed the call for nominations.
