1) Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Community Development Corporation Board present, President Howard
called the Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 15, 2010, in the Council
Chambers.
2) Introduction to the Allen Community Development Corporation
Brian Bristow, Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation
Mr. Bristow gave a PowerPoint presentation on the Community Development Corporation
projects and the process for choosing and funding of projects.
3) Town Hall Meeting:
Receive Applications by Citizens Concerning Projects for 4B Sales Tax Proceeds
Anne Gifford, 1110 Ashby Drive, Allen, Texas, on behalf of the Allen Heritage Guild,
requested funds in the amount of $25,000 in order to `Host a Certified Hand Car Race' in the
Spring of 2011.
Anne Gifford, 1110 Ashby Drive, Allen, Texas, on behalf of the Allen Heritage Guild,
requested funds in the amount of $100,000 for `Saving the Yellow Queen Anne Farm House
and its Out Buildings at the Allen Heritage Village' for exterior renovation and structural
repair of the buildings.

Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Stitt and a second by Board Member Simmons,
the Board voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes from the
February 15, 2010, meeting. The motion carried.

Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Simmons and a second by Board Member Stitt,
