Present: Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilpersons: Mickey Pierson, H. C. Brooks, Jr.
Eileen Tollett, Charles Chandler,
Absent: Bob Lowman
Motion Pierson, Second Charles Chandler that minutes of last meet-
ing be approved as read, with 2 corrections.
Motion carried 4 for 0 against. Mr. LeVassnur and other representatives
from Fairview appeared concerning Mr. W. H. Kirkwood and some other
property owners living on the south side of Stacy Rd. who wanted to
be annexed into the City of Fairview. Mayor Dugger advised them to
write a letter to our council stating their desires. At that time a
special meeting could be set to discuss this problem with these people.
Irving Hill, 105 Butler appeared to request a building permit for a
wooden storage building to be attached to his brick frame shop. The
Mayor advised that this was in the fire district and felt that this
decision should be delayed until further review of application from
the Building Inspector, and Fire Marshall.
Motion Pierson and Second Tollett to adopt ordmo,4200 changing
building permit fees. Motion carried 4 for and 0 against.
Motion Chandler and Second Pierson authorizing Juanelle Cooksey to
sign ordloaA�in the absence of a City Secretary. Motion carried
4 for and 0 against.
A public hearing was held on budget for fiscal year 1976-77. None
spoke for or against. Motion Tollett Second Chandler to adopt budget.
Motion carried 4 for and 0 against.
Chuck Ganakos and Dave White, Scoccer Commission appeared regarding
land available for 4 scoccer fields. Council advised that the area
around the pee wee football field could be developed for this sport..
Bids were opened for Mini Computor.
Burroughs _ $14,214.00
NCR - $12,728.21
Xerox bid was for terminal only, with actual processing done in Dallas.
Ted Brady of McKinney appeared to offer his computor services. These
bids to be considered.
Mr. Armando Orodonez's bid for 1975 Ford Torino was opened. The bid
being $876.00. Chandler's motion to accept but died for lack of second.
Motion Pierson Second Borrks not to accept bid and to put car on auction.
3 for Chandler abstaining. Motion Brooks Tollett Second that $1,000.00
be minimum. 3 for and Chandler abstaining.
Motion Brooks Second Peirson to have Plano line installed even though the
Telephone Company advised there was a waiting list until February 1977.
4 for 0 against.
Motion Pierson Second Brooks to pay all bills except those for Pee Mee
Football Score Board, which were to be given to Dale Williams, treasurer
for Pee Wee Football Association.
Discussion concerning trucks parking on streets. Cheif Hancock to get
information together for ordinance to be drawn up.

Motion Pierson Second Brooks to persue search for good used posting
machine. If none found by Nov, 4, council meeting, for them to follow
thru with the bids received on new machine,
Motion Brooks Second Pierson to adjourn into Executive Session to review
applications for City Secretary, 4 for 0 against,
