Chandler and Bob Lowman
Absent: None
Motion Lowman Second Chandler to approve the minutes as read. Motion
carried 5 For 0 Against.
Public hearing was held on Dale Morton property in the Peter Fisher
Survey regarding the zoning request. Pete Ford spoke in favor of
the PD & GI zoning. No one spoke against. Motion Pierson Second
Tollett to approve this request. 5 For 0 Against.
Public hearing was held on the zoning request for the Henry S. Miller
property. Damon Griffin, the spokesman for the owner, requested that
his zoning application be changed to include the PD with the LR.
Several property owners in the area spoke against this request for
various reasons. Gary Schellbase presented a petition with 192 sig-
natures from the Windridge addition, expressing their desires for
the shopping area. Several others spoke for and against. A vote
from the council was taken with 3 For (Brooks, Tollett, Chandler)
and 2 Against. (Pierson and Lowman) A majority vote of 3/4 was
required to over rule the P & Z recommendation.
Permit fees for repairs was discussed. Motion Pierson Second Lowman
to amend ordinance {200 regarding secions 2 and 3 under repair fees,
to set a flat fee of $5.00 for work up to $1000.00 Motion carried
5 For Q Against. A,5
Ronald Gentry presented plans for the addition to the Fire Station.
The Council advised him to seek bids on this.
Pete Yurgenson was advised by the Mayor that we would like for the
Volunteer Water Commission to review the water rates sometime after
the first of the year, after a report from our records is made
showing the amount of revenue received.
Motion Chandler Second by Pierson to pay bilis. 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Pierson Second Brooks to adjourn.
