Motion Lowman Second Tollett to adopt minutes as read. Motion carried
5 For 0 Against.
Mayor Bugger read letter from North Texas Municipal Water District
advising that the water rate for 1977 was to be 35.8 cents per 1000
gallons, which is a 3.4 cent increase over 1976.
Don Scruggs appeared to request a variance be allowed on a side
yard at 200 Wildwood in order that a new home could be constructed.
Motion Lowman Second Brooks to allow this 3' variance. Motion carried

Alan Milner and Glen Anderson of North Texas Concrete appeared, after
an introduction by Sue Chumbley of Chumbley Realtors, requesting a
Special Exception Permit to allow a concrete batch plant on 2170
east of the Animal Clinic. Mayor Dugger advised that a public hearing
date would be set for February 17, 1977 at the next regular council
meeting. Motion Lowman Second Pierson to set that date. Motion carried

Motion PiersonSecond Lowman to send a copy of the rate increase from
North Texas to the Volunteer Water Commission for their study of our
rate structure. 5 For 0 Against.
Council requested that Walter Hicks be requested to attend the next
council meeting to give a progress report on the street project.
After much discussion concerning traffic problem around the Middle
School, Chief Hancock was asked to attend the next school board
meeting, to see what can be done to alleviate this problem.
Motion Lowman Second Pierson to pay bills as presented. Motion carried

Motion Brooks Second Lowman to adjourn. 5 For 0 Against. /�
