Nation Pierson Second Brooks that minutes be approved as read. Motion carried

A Public Hearing was held an Lots 1C and 1D Block H Old Notation. Request was
made to change zoning from R16 to LR to allow a Nay Care Center at 206 Ash.
Motion Brooks Second Tollett to grant this request. Motion carries For 0 against.
The request vas tabled an a special exception request an the Wm. F. Chester
property to allow a Used Car Lot for Mr. Thompson, until Mr. Thompson was present
to discuss his plans with the council. Motion Pierson Second Farmer to table.
Motion carried 5 For 0 against.
John Bounds came before the council concerning the bids on the employee bmpitaiizatlr-.
The employees are to pick out two companies that look the best, mad than have those
representatives and the council get back together for a closer look. Cost wise for
the employee, he recommended either increasing the room rate with Crown Life or going
to Southwestern #1, even tho the Guardian policy would be better for a mayor illness.
Boyd Williams, Harry Bomar, and Kenneth Keller of T.P. & L, were present to present
their request for a rate increase, which would be an average of 18% or a 25% increase
for the resident. Motion Pierson Second Tollett to suspend this request for 120 days.

Joe Duncan presented the final plat for Tlnbercreek, which will be duplexes on the
former Allenwood Heights Townhouse section. He requested that a variance be granted
on this TH toning. Motion Pierson Second Chandler to approve his request. Motion
carried 5 For 0 against.
As the city now is required to extend unemployment cmpenation, and has the option
of either paying taxes each quarter or electing to became a reimbursing employer
and therby reimbursing the State Fund for actual benefits paid to their former
employees, a motion was made by Brooks Second by Pierson to be a reimbursing
employer. Motion carried 5 For 0 against.
Motion Chandler Second Brooks to pay bills as presented. Notion carried unammsly.
Motion Brooks Second Farmer to adjourn. Motion carried venomously.
