AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TERAS, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE,
THAT WHEREAS, an application having been made for annexing certain
territory to the City of Allen, Texas, which said application is in the
form of a petition duly and legally executed and filed with the Mayor of
the City of Allen, Texas, and the Mayor having certified the same to the
Council of the City of Allen, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Allen has investigated into said
petition and determined that all of the facts contained in said petition
are true; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that it will be advantageous and
beneficial to the City of Allen and its inhabitants as well as the here-
inafter described territory to annex such territory to the City of Allen;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
TEXAS:
Section It That the territory described as follows be and the same
is hereby annexed to the City of Allen, Texas, to -wit:
BEGINNING at the Southeast Corner of Hillside Village No. 2, an add-
ition to the City of Allen, Texas, as recorded in Volume 5, at Page 84 of
the Map Records of Collin County, Texas, an iron stake for corner:
THENCE, 0 South 0 14' East, a distance of 265,02 feet to an iron stake
for corner;
THENCE, North 89 26, West, a distance of 491.31 feet to the beginning
of a curve to the left, having a central angle of 28°2313211 and a radius of
1520.00 feet, an iron stake for corner;
THENCE, Along said curve, a distance of 753.22 feet to the end of
said curve, an iron stake for corner;
THENCE, North 26°531 West, a distance of 265.02 feet to an iron stake
for corner;
THENCE, along the Southerly line of said Hillside Village No. 2 the
following:
EASTERLY along a curve to the right having a central angle of 28015'0911,
a radius of 1785,00 feet and Back Tangent bearing North 62018,51" East, a
distance of 880,18 feet to the end of said curve, an iron stake for corner;
SOUTH, 890261 East, a distance of 487.61 feet to the PLACE OF BEGIN-
NING and containing 7.946 Acres of land.
Section 2: That from and after the passage of this ordinance said ter-
ritory shall be a part of the City of Allen, Texas, and the inhabitants there-
of shall be entitled to all the rights, privileges and immunities of all
other citizens of the City of Allen, Texas, and shall be bound by all of
of the ordinances and regulations enacted pursuant to and in conformity
with the general laws of the State of Texas,

Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval and 1t is so ordained.
Duly passed and approved by the City Council of the City of Allen,
