REGULAR MEETING
MAY 17, 2016
' The Committee reviewed the six different concept drawings provided by project artist Joshua
Weiner. Overall the drawings were well received, but the Committee did provide feedback on a
couple of the figures represented.
4. Update on Current Projects
The Committee reviewed updated drawings from May and Watkins on the Watters Branch
Community Park restroom building enhancements as well as the added bike racks. The Red Hot
Poker version of the restroom building enhancement seemed to be preferred by the group. The
bike nick design was liked, however for safety reason it was suggested that the design include a
more rounded edge.
Tim Dentler, Director, Parks and Recreation spoke briefly about the impact of the recent bond
election on future project funding, as well as provided an update on the timing and possible
structure of the GCAA project.
Funds previously allocated for golf course signage were also discussed and it was determined that
possible future reallocation of these funds maybe an option based on project timing.
