' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING APPENDIX C, "FEE SCHEDULE," CONTAINED
IN THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR RESIDENTIAL
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION; PROVIDING A REPEALING
CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABHdTY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of providing a program that allows for the recycling
of household hazardous waste; and,
WHEREAS, to continue the household hazardous waste reuse program, the City Council finds it reasonable
and necessary to establish a fee that will be charged on a monthly basis per residential household; and,
WHEREAS, upon full review and consideration of the proposed fee, the City Council finds that this fee is
reasonable and that the residential household hazardous waste services provided by the City promotes the
environment and the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Appendix C, "Fee Schedule,' of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding
Section 4 to the Solid Waste Collection Service Fee Schedule to read verbatim as follows:
' "(4) Residential Utility accounts being billed for solid waste services: ...... $0.33 per month"
SECTION 2. All prior Resolutions of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, in conflict with the
provisions of this Resolution be, and the same are hereby, repealed; provided, however, that all other
provisions of said Resolution not in conflict with the provisions of this resolution shall remain in full force
and effect.
SECTION 3. Should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or section of this
resolution, be adjudged or held to be void or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of said resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage.
