AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2007-12-01, THE ALLEN
RETAIL ELECTRIC PROVIDERS REGISTRATION ORDINANCE, BY
REPEALING THE PENALTY PROVISION; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 2007-12-01, the Allen Retail Electric Providers Registration Ordinance, is
amended in part by repealing the penalty provision.
SECTION 2. Should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or section of this
ordinance, be adjudged or held to be void or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of said ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. All ordinances of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of
tlus ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repealed; provided, however, Ordinance No. 2007-12-01 shall
remain in full force and effect as amended herein; and all other provisions of the ordinances of the City of
Allen, Collin County, Texas, not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and it is accordingly
so ordained.
