' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, APPROVING THE USE OF THE PROCEEDS OF COLLIN
COUNTY HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION SINGLE FAMILY MORTGAGE
REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2002 IN THE CITY, AND RESOLVING OTHER
MATTERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Commissioners Court of Collin County, Texas, operates a public nonprofit housing
finance corporation designated as the Collin County Housing Finance Corporation (the "Corporation'); and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Texas Housing Finance Corporations Act, Chapter 394, Texas Local
Government Code, as amended (the "Act'), the Board of Directors of the Corporation intends to issue bonds
entitled "Single Family Mortgage Revenue Bonds, Serres 2002" (the "Bonds'); and,
WHEREAS, Section 394.005 of the Act provides that certain cities, including the City of Allen (the
"City'), must approve the application of the Act to property within such cities in order to use Bond proceeds in
such cities to fund mortgages; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that such approval is in the best interest of the
citizens of the City.
' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City Council, pursuant to the Act, including particularly Section 394.005, hereby approves
the use of the proceeds of the Bonds to originate mortgages within the boundaries of the City.
SECTION 2: The recitals contained in the preamble hereof we hereby found to be true, and such recitals are
hereby made a part of this Resolution for all purposes and are adopted as a part of the judgment and findings of
the City Council.
SECTION3: It is officially found, determined, and declared that the meeting at which this Resolution is
adopted was open to the public and public notice of the time, place, and subject matter of the public business to
be considered at such meeting, including this Resolution, was given, all as required by the Texas Government
Code, Chapter 551, as amended.
SECTION 4: Capitalized terms used, but not defined, in this Resolution shall have the meanings assigned
them in the Act.
SECTION 5: The City Secretary shall forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Robert Johnson, Vice -
President, First Southwest Company, 1700 Pacific Avenue, Suite 500, Dallas, TX 75201.
SECTION & This Resolution shall become effective from and after its passage
