A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, SETTING THE TIME AND DATE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
MEETINGS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on May 5, 2001, the Citizens of Allen approved amendments to the City of Allen Charter allowing
for the City Council to set their regular meeting schedule by Resolution; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, shall meet twice monthly at 7:00 p.m. on the first and
t1urd Thursday of every month through May 2002; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Teras, shall meet twice monthly at 7:00 p.m. an the second and
fourth Tuesday of every month beginning m June 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The CityCouncil of the City of Allen Texas, hereby sets its meeting date and time to 7:00 p.m. on
the first and third Thursday of every month, through May 2002.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Allen Teras, hereby sets its meeting date and time to 7:00 p.m.
on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, beginning in Jane 2002.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage.
